Shipping to Canada: Set Up Process

 

Welcome to UPS eFulfillment! 

 

If you would like to have UPS eFulfillment ship your orders to Canada, please reach out to Support via support@upsefulfillment.zendesk.com  with your completed Canada Brokerage Questionnaire and they will assist you through the steps below:

 

1. Fill out Canada Brokerage Questionnaire. (see attachment) as well as Articles of Incorporation

  • make sure all fields are filled out as required
  • Secondary officer’s name and title is required. If there is only one Sole Signing officer of the company, on company letterhead (or a separate form), that individual will need to indicate that they are the Sole Signing Officer of the company, printed name, signature, title and date.
  • UPS eFulfillment currently only offers DDP where merchant is responsible for any applicable duties, taxes and clearance charges related to importation into Canada.
  • UPS eFulfillment currently does not offer returns labels for orders from Canada

 

* UPS shipping account number:  If so, you need to enter it beside the field “Int’l Shipping Accounts”.

 

 2.  Add Product Data to Products in the UPS Portal which will be shipping to Canada: 

 

Each of the products you will be shipping to Canada via UPS eFulfillment must have the HS Code, HS Description, and the Schedule B Code added to them. 

 

This can be added one by one on the User Interface via the Pencil icon:

Product Data and Definitions: 

  • HS CODE: Harmonized System code. The length of this field must be 6 characters. All characters must be digits. If a merchant already entered a Schedule B code then first 6 digits of the Schedule B code must match HS code.
  • HS DESCRIPTION: Harmonized System description.
  • Schedule B Code: Schedule B Code. The length of this field must be 10 characters. All characters must be digits. If a merchant already entered a Harmonized System Code code then Harmonized System Code code must match the first 6 digits of Schedule B code.
  • Country of origin should the 2 letter code

 

  • Your TAX ID must be added to the UPS Portal                                                                                  Go to  Admin>Manage Seller Account> Business info> TAX ID

 

3. Enrollment for Paperless invoice

Your UPS eFulfillment account number must be enrolled in Paperless invoice billing.  Please reach out to Support  support@upsefulfillment.zendesk.com for next steps

 

4. You will receive paperwork from the Canadian Brokerage Team to sign and return

 

5. When the above steps are completed, Support can then enable your account to ship to Canada!

 

 

 IMPORTANT:

  • All Orders to Canada must have an order line item total. (And a total order amount) 
  • All Orders to Canada must have a valid phone number.  
  • UPS eFulfillment currently does not offer returns labels for orders from Canada
  • You will be billed separately for any applicable taxes/duties and not through UPS efulfillment.  Please set up payment through the Billing Center. Information can be found on the paperwork returned from the UPS Canadian Brokerage Team. 
  • To use Canada Export 1 to 2 Days, select UPS WorldWide Expedited  as the ship method in the manual order
  • To use Canada Export Standard, select UPS Standard to Canada as the ship method in the manual order
